DECATUR, Ga.  – There are tons of fun events going on this weekend, in your area. We’ve listed a few of them for you to check out with your family and friends.

The Atlanta Community Food Bank will be hosting Twain’s Spring Fest on Saturday, May 14. The benefit will feature a dance party, silent auction and lots of music. All proceeds from the festival will benefit Twain’s Spring Fest. The Event will be held at Twain’s Billiards and Tap in Decatur. The festival will be located at 211 E. Trinity Place in Decatur.

This weekend, Decatur will host their annual Decatur Garden Tour.  The garden tour will be held on Saturday and Sunday and will feature a number of gardens like the Oakhurst Community Garden, the Nathan and Gena Rawlins’s backyard garden and Woodlands Garden. Visit the garden tour at 435 Oakview Road in Decatur.

According to their Facebook event, The Marlay House will be hosting Decatur's premier street food event in our parking lot by the pub. The restaurant will debut their “Mobile Marlay" Fish & Chips truck alongside local street food favorites on Saturday, May 14 on the Decatur Square. It will be the first chance for Decatur locals to get a taste of the energetic Atlanta street food movement. There will be live music from 7:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. and festival goers can grab a beer to wash down all the delicious food. The Marlay House is located at 426 West Ponce De Leon in Decatur.

On Saturday, the Taste of Conyers will be held in Olde Town Conyers. Sample a variety of foods from local restaurants at the first Taste of Conyers event in a number of years.  According to the City of Conyers, guests can “stroll the streets of Olde Town Conyers and try samples of food and drink, browse among food-related vendors and exhibitors and enjoy entertainment”.  Admission is free and food tickets can be purchased on site.
