LITHONIA, Ga. -- The Atlanta Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and DeKalb Police are searching for a man responsible for four armed bank robberies in Lithonia and Snellville over the past five weeks.
Police describe the robber as a black man, in his mid 20's, medium build, medium height and wearing a blue ball cap with a white logo and a blue hoodie during the commission of the robberies.
The unamed man robbed three Best Bank branches located in two Kroger grocery stores and one in a Wal-Mart location in, both, October and November. And on Monday afternoon, the man robbed a SunTrust Bank inside a Publix store located in Snellville.
The robber fled in an off-white Lincoln sedan with tinted windows at a "high rate of speed."
