COVINGTON -- (www.covnews.com) Alexander Quinlan, a student at the Montessori School of Covington, has been accepted into the People to People World Leadership Forum.
Alexander will join a select group of students in Washington, D.C., next week to study leadership and explore the city's monuments and institutions. Stops will include Capitol Hill, the Smithsonian Institution, Mount Vernon and the National Museum of American History, according to a release.
Alexander will examine characteristics of American leadership during times of national challenge and prosperity. Forum delegates will also participate in discussions and exercises to experience firsthand how successful leaders develop strategies, make decisions, build consensus, and foster change.
Delegates will meet Mary Jean Eisenhower, granddaughter of Dwight D.
