COVINGTON, Ga. -- Four members of Eastside High School's Future Business Leaders of America will attend the national competition in Anaheim, Calif., later this year.

Cason Cantrell, Alana Freeman and Conner Haler all placed first in their respective events at the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Atlanta. Their teammate Dustin Gentis placed second in his.

All first- and second-place winners are eligible to attend nationals.

"I am so proud of the accomplishments of the students," Eastside High principal Jeff Cher said in a statement. "For the second year in a row, our FBLA students will represent Newton County and the state of Georgia at the national competition. They are outstanding students and I am gratified to see their hard work and expertise recognized."
