Popular farm to table restaurant, R. Thomas, is perhaps one of the most noted late night grills in the Atlanta area. Their motto “You are what you eat” is indicative of the way they prep their food and their entire philosophy. The restaurant uses ingredients like pressed oils, fresh produce, home produce, veggies and organic meats. Among the restaurants most popular items are the French toast, Chicken Supreme and Salmon Piccata. The restaurant is open 24 hours and is a favorite among locals. The restaurant is located at 1812 Peachtree Street in Brookwood.

The Original Taco Cabana on Piedmont is home to most of Atlanta’s late night diners. The restaurant is located between Buckhead and Midtown and it’s been prominently standing there for years. Home to one of the best patios in town, Taco Cabana is open for 24 hours and always attracts a crowd. The restaurant offers an assortment of nachos, salads, fajitas, quesadillas and breakfast specialties. Taco Cabana is located at 1895 Piedmont Road NE in Atlanta.

Holeman and Finch Public House is known for their “late night, limited burgers”. The restauant make a limited amount of burgers and has a sound off at 10:00 p.m., every night for the bravest takers. The burger is known as “the best burger in town” and takes their reputation pretty seriously. H&F is a public house styled restaurant meaning their setup encourages fraternization and until 3:00 a.m. there’s lots of it. The restaurant is located at 2277 Peachtree Road in Atlanta.

Pozole, is a tequila bar with a dinner menu and a patio. The restaurant offer about 15 different margaritas and about 50 tequilas. The restaurant is located in the Virginia Highland neighborhood and they serve up drink and food until 2:30 every morning, except Sunday. The restaurant offers Trivia on Tuesday, 1/2 of taco night and ½ off late night menu from 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. The restaurant is located at 1044 Greenwood Avenue in Atlanta.

Check into the Majestic Diner, after a show or if you want one. Standing since 1929, the diner offers up “food that pleases” at any house. The diner serves a wide range of fare from sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs to soup salads and blue plates. If you want to look like a pro, order the Majestic Special which is a double burger with American or Swiss, lettuce and tomato and mayo. The diner is pretty affordable and is open 24 hours. Landmark Diner is a mainstay in the Buckhead neighborhood and typical of any other diner, they serve sandwiches, salads, dinner fare, burgers, seafood and breakfast. The most popular item on their menu is their Bacon Burger; it comes served with bacon, lettuce, tomato and coleslaw. The restaurant has an expansive dessert list and a host of signature cocktails. Landmark Diner is located at 3652 Roswell Road in Atlanta.

Popular with students and locals, alike, The Grill in Athens is known as a local tradition. The grill that has been open for more than twenty years has remained an area favorite. Just like a down home restaurant, from your hometown, this diner uses high quality ingredients and makes all of its items from scratch. The restaurant is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Grill is located at 171 College Avenue in Downtown Athens.

The Little Italy Pizzeria is also a favorite among people in the north metro. According to some, the pizzeria has a line out of the door on any given night. The diner serves Italian fare, subs and pizza; they are famous for their popular veggie sub with marinara sauce. The food is inexpensive and so are the beers making this a favorite among many. Little Italy is located at 125 N Lumpkin Street in Athens.

Check out Fabiano’s Pizzeria in Downtown Newnan if you’re looking for some late night eats. The restaurant is open until 2 a.m. Monday through Friday, until midnight on Saturday and until close on Sunday. Come join that party and pig out on New York Style pizza, all night. Giant pizzas range from $18 until $30. The restaurant is located at 19 W. Court Street in Newnan.

The Waffle House is the mother of all late night eats. There are a million scattered across the metro area and at any given time during the day, they’re serving up something “scattered, smothered and covered”. This restaurant has a number of locations around the southeast those yellow letters are almost an iconic around these parts. The first Waffle House is located in Avondale Estates, Georgia.
